The Freestyler Memorial Trophy
This is the second year, of many, for the presentation of the
“Freestyler Memorial Trophy” to the winner of the Tarraleah
Park CCI**.
This trophy is dedicated to our dear friend “Freestyler”
(‘Charlie’), who passed away at the Sydney International Three
Day Event,
13th September 2008, having suffered an aortic aneurysm whilst
competing on the CCI** cross country. ‘Charlie’ was destined
for greatness, but devastatingly he was taken from us too soon.

“Freestyler” was charismatic,
incredibly talented and stunningly beautiful. He was a
member of
the Lee Family, and the ‘Tarraleah Team’ for just two
years, however in that short time he
achieved some wonderful results with his partner, Rachael
Lee. The experience he gave Rachael
was invaluable, and the memories will last a life time.
To all who knew “Freestyler”, he was unforgettable.
We will be forever grateful for the time he
spent with us, and we would like to ensure that his
memory lives on. Tarraleah Park, owned by
The Lee Family, is sponsoring the CCI** class and
presenting the Memorial Trophy in honor of
“Freestyler’s” life.
‘Charlie’ will be forever in our hearts. More
